Thinclients computers are the PC without hardisks. With the help of thinclient cards, they are connected to main central server. They do all their processing on the central server.They store all their data on central server. The hardware requiremnets for thinclient computer is very less.A pentium-I 133 Mhz with 32 MB RAM is good enough for thinclient computers.The central server should be new computer with enough RAM and latest softwares loaded to it. A pentium-IV with 1GB RAM,80 GB HDD is good enough to support 10 -15 thinclients. The number of thinclients depends on the hardware configuration of central server.One quad core processor with 4GB RAM can support 55 - 60 thinclients.
